1. Answer anyone of the subsequent question in about 40-60 words.
(b) what's term for the junction of 1 neuron and therefore the other neuron known as? What does the top of first neuron contain?
ANSWER
The junction of a neurone and therefore the other neurone is named synapse.
Synapse is that the junction of the primary neurone ending with the axonand the second neurone starting with the dendrites of the neurones and separated by the gap. Synaptic junction is additionally named as neuronal junction.
This is the junction where the transmission of the electrical nerve pulses takes place between nerve cells and muscle fiber . The synaptic connection between the muscle fiber and synapse is understood as myoneural junction .
2. Answer anybody of the subsequent questions in about 40-60 words.
(a) Calculate the amount of molecule present in 0.5 mole of water
ANSWER
Answer: 3.012 ×10^23 molecules
Explanation: consistent with the avogadoro's law, one mole of each substance weights adequate to the molar mass and contents Avogadro's number 6.023 × 10^23 of particles. 1 mole water contains 6.023 ×10^23×0.5 molecules =3.0115 ×10^23 molecules.
3. Answer anybody of the subsequent questions in about 40-60 words.
(a) Reena is affected by high fever since night. Her aunt measures her blood heat to 39°C employing a celcius thermometer. But she wants to understand this temperature in Fahrenheit scale before leaving for doctor's clinic. Help her to convert this temperature on Fahrenheit scale .
ANSWER
The formula used for converting Celsius for Fahrenheit is 0°C× (9/5)+32=32°F
EXPLANATION:
GIVEN: The reading sun is that the thermometer is 390°Celsius
SOLUTION:
Now reena can convert the reading using the temperature calculator aur second convert 'celsius to fahrenheit'with the subsequent formula.
Now, multiplying the degree reading by (3/5) and adding two 32 to given the Fahrenheit reading.
Hence by substituting the worth of celsius within the formula, we get 390×(9/5)+32=734°F
4. Answer anybody of the subsequent questions in about 100-150 words.
(b) Explain the following-
(i) NaCl has higher freezing point as compared to nephthalane?
(ii) NaCl may be a good conductor of electricity in molten state but not is solid state.
ANSWER
(i) NaCl has higher freezing point because
of the strong electrostatic forces of attraction present between the ions.
NaCl is polar in nature and naphthalene is non-polar in nature.
(ii) Prince ions are liberal to move within the molten States, they will carry current from one electrode to a different during a cell, Thus ions Can conduct electricity in molten state. However, in solid state, such a movement of ionsis impossible as they occupy fixed position within the space lattice . Hance in solid state, NaCl don't conduct electricity.
5. Answer anybody of the subsequent questions in about 100-150 words.
(b) Differentiate between following pairs of terms with examples-
(i) Personal health and community health
(ii) Communicable diseases and non-communicable diseases
ANSWER
(i) Ans
(ii) Ans
