1. Answer any one of the following questions in about 40-60 words.
(b) Ram is down with high fever. His mother measures his body temperature to 39°C using a celcius thermometer. Before leaving for the doctor’s clinic she wants to know the value on fahrenheit scale. Help her to convert the temperature on fahrenheit scale.
Ans- Ram is down with high fever. His mother measure his temperature to 39°c using a celcius thermometer and before leaving for the doctor's clinic she want to know the value on fahrenheit scale. Help her to convert the temperature ti fahrenheit scale.
*In celcius, the lower fixed
point(icepoint) is marked as 0, the upper fixed point (steam point) is marks as 100 and the interesting space is divided into 100 equal parts.
*In fahrenheit scale the lower point is marked aa 32, upper fixed point as 212 and the interesting space is divided into 180 equal parts.
# Measure body temperature to 39°c in celcius:- (c/100) = (39/100)=0.39
# Measure body temperature to 39°c in fahrenheit :- (f-32/180) -38.68
*Both are temperature is lower fixed points.
2. Answer any one of the following questions in about 40 to 60 words.
(a) An element X has a valency 3+
(i) Write the formula of its phosphide
Ans- Phosphide means compound of x with p(phosphide valency 3) chemical formula would be:- x3p3.
(ii) Write the formula of the carbonate.
Ans- carbonate ion is a polyatomic icon with formula of Co3(2-). Carbonate is carbon oxoanion.
(iii) Write the formula of its nitrate
Ans- The formula of nitrate is (No3-)
(iv) Write the formula of its Borates
Ans- Borax chemical formula:-
Na2.B407.10H20 (or)
Na2B4os(OH)4.8H20
3. Answer any one of the following questions in about 40 to 60 words.
(b) Construct a food chain explaining flow of energy and nutrients in an ecosystem.
Ans- Succession of organisms in an ecological community that constitute a passing on of food energy from one organisms to another each consumer a lower member and in turn is preyed upon by a higher member of the chain.
Detritus food chain:- This type of food dead organic matter the deaf organic matter is broken down into simple nutrient by micro-organism like fungi ans bacteria. These simple nutrient and decomposer are then consumed by smaller carnivores which in turn become food larger carnivores.
4. Answer any one of the following questions in about 100 to 150 words.
(a) Mass of a body is 25 kg. What is its weight in newton on earth? If the body is carried to A planet whose mass is two times the mass of earth and radius is half that of earth. What Will be the mass and weight of the body on the planet? (Take the value of a g on earth as 10 m s-2).
Ans- Given,
Mass=m=25kg
G=10/s2
Weight on earth=w=mg= 25×10=250N
The body is carried to a planet where mass is two time of earth =2m, radius-R/2
Formula to be used:-
G= GM/R²=
G(2M)/(R/2)²= 8GM/R² g = 8(GM/R²) = 8×10 (g in earth –
10m/s²) = 80 m/s².
Therefore weight of body on other planet is w= m×g= 25×80= 2000N. and mass remain constant through out universe =m= 25kg ans.
5. Answer any one of the following questions in about 100 to 150 words.
(a) Animals have three types of muscle tissue, striated found in arms etc. unstriated found in lining of stomach and cardiac found it the heart. Mention the characteristics of each which justify their presence in the locations mentioned above.
Ans- There are three types of muscle tissue of animal are:-
1. Striated muscle tissue is a muscle tissue that features repeating functional units called sarcomeres. The presence of sarcomeres manifests as a series of bands visible along the muscle fibers, which is responsible for the striated appearance observed in microscopic images of this tissue.
2. Unstriated muscles are involuntary muscles. The movement of food in the alimentary canal or the contraction and relaxation of blood vessels are involuntary movements. It is also known as smooth muscles. For example, Muscles that are found in the iris of the eye, in ureters and in the bronchi of the lungs.
3. Cardiac muscle tissue is one of the three types of muscle tissue in your body. The other two types are skeletal muscle tissue and smooth muscle tissue. Cardiac muscle tissue is only found in your heart, where it performs coordinated contractions that allow your heart to pump blood through your circulatory system.
6. Prepare any one project out of the given below.
(a) Answer the following Questions.
(i) What is novel “Coronavirus”?
Ans- Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.
(ii) List out the symptoms of novel coronavirus.
Ans-
- Fever or Chills.
- Cough.
- Headache.
- Sore throat.
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.
Ans- The ill poison should stay in a separate room. If this not possible, then keep at least a 1 meter distance from them.The sick person and anyone else in the same room should wear a medical mark.
(iv) Why it is important to follow the guidelines to prevent transmission?
Ans- It is importance to follow the guidelines to prevent transmission because, Maintaining at least a 1-metre distance between yourself and others to reduce your risk of infection when they cough, sneeze or speak. Maintain an even greater distance between yourself and others when indoors. The further away, the better.
(v) How can you avoid the risk of infection?
Ans- Avoid touching surfaces, wash your hand, get vaccinated, wear a medical mask, travel safe etc.
